New Delhi, Nov 22 2017 19:00 : A 23-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping in front of a Delhi Metro train at Kashmere Gate station on Wednesday, ANI reported. The incident was reported at 7 PM. The driver of the Metro train applied emergency brakes but couldn’t save the woman. The reports said that the woman had to board a train to Dilshad Garden but she jumped in front of it instead.
The Red Line services of the Delhi Metro were immediately suspended due to which, many passengers were left stranded. The security personnel immediately retrieved the woman’s body from the metro tracks.
No suicide note was found, as per the reports. The woman was a resident of Gokulpuri area in Delhi.
